Schnookie is a beautiful 6-year-old bay Thoroughbred mare with a kind, willing temperament and a lovely presence. She was started in racing at only 30 months of age at Gulfstream Park in South Florida, but after sustaining an injury to her front left leg in 2022, she was no longer able to race. I acquired Schnookie in 2023 and have dedicated her time to recovery, rehabilitation, and giving her the opportunity to develop into a happy and comfortable riding horse. She is an excellent prospect for trail riding, with a beautiful trot and gallop, gets along very well with other horses, and is easy to handle both in the stall and pasture. Meet Cash, a handsome 14 year old 14.2 hand grulla gelding. Cash is a been there done that ranch horse. He knows a days work and has done every ranch job there is to be done. He has gathered cattle in big country, penned, sorted, and drug calves in the branding pens. On top of being a solid ranch horse, Cash has also been used in the arena as a team roping horse and breakaway horse. He is quiet in the box, scores good, and rates well. He will track the rope dummy all day long. He is fun and easy to rope on. He has smooth gaits that are easy to sit, making him a pleasure to ride all day long. While Cash has all the athletic ability to be a performance horse, he is push button and will not go faster than you ask. In the arena he lopes perfect circles in the correct lead every time. He can lope off from a standstill and has the nicest short lope you could ask for. Cash is an excellent trail horse who will confidently ride alone or with others and is happy to both lead or follow. Dolly has a steady walk, smooth trot and lopes around the arena both directions easily guided with one hand. You can drag the barrel or pull the log. She is good with ropes and will track and rope cattle. Dolly is fun and easy to sort on and you can wrap her off on the fence anywhere and she stays put. She stands tied without a fuss, doesn’t have any bad habits and is easy to get along with. Out on the trail she rides one handed, will go up and down steep hills and through thick brush. Cross the creek and the wooden bridge, she is just point kick and go. We use her out and check the cows, bring in the pairs and sort them in the pen. On the trails she’s just easy peasy and one you will enjoy every ride. Dolly is also finished on the barrels, she walks in the area calm, goes the speed you ask making her fit a youth or adult. She won’t run by a barrel and has a very easy to ride style. You wouldn’t know she was a barrel horse to go ride she is calm and cool all the time. Drag a log or barrel, carry a flag or play with the big ball or even the tarp, he is good with it all. When gathering up the roping cattle for the roping’s, Bentley is one of our favorites to use. He is quite in the herd, good with the sorting flag and will stand his ground when one turns back. Bentley is truly an all-around, safe, honest ride. In the arena he lopes around on a draped rein, going at the speed you ask and picking up both leads. Bentley is easily guided around with one hand, or you can gather him up and ride him with two. This is a fancy young gelding that has been around the family and can continue in any career. He would excel in the performance arena or continue on the ranch. This is an outstanding, good looking 4 year old gelding that will gets noticed with his stout build, beautiful bay roan color and kind nature. Benjie is a beautiful 5-year-old Thoroughbred mare with a sweet, friendly personality and an excellent disposition around both people and other horses. She is a fun and willing ride and has been trained to trail ride confidently either alone or with a group. Benjie is not recommended for a beginner rider, as she can be forward when asked to run and may require an experienced rider to bring her back down to a slower pace.
